our show is up all this week! the gallery is open from 11-7 on weekdays and join us Saturday for the reception!
We have a mental process of judging the merits of multiple options and selecting one. Most regard having choices as a good thing, however limited or restricted choice can lead to discomfort while the unlimited amount of choice can be confusing. Sometimes the path taken is unsatisfactory and regret may sink in from selecting the wrong alternative.
I have used myself as the subject matter to depict how private conversations within our-self can be a direct connection to the language our body projects. Thoughts can build, tangle, and can become lost, and can make that language misunderstood or even unheard.
The mind is a private sphere in which no one but the owner has access. The results from the choices made are what are on display for everyone to see. I do not always make the right choice, but I remember my viewer does not always have the best seat.
